Notre Dame (SO) got a massive performance out of Aliyah Garcia, who scored three runs and stole Two bases. while going 3-for-4. What's more, Garcia posted two RBI, the most she's had since back in April of 2024. Nadia Ledon was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing Two bases. while going 2-for-3.
Notre Dame (SO) was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .463. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Culver City only posted a batting average of .320.
Meanwhile, Flintridge Sacred Heart never let their opponents score on Saturday. Everything went their way against King/Drew as Flintridge Sacred Heart made off with a 10-0 win. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Tologs considering their one-run performance the match before.
Ruby Daniels made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out nine over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with four RBI and two doubles.
In other batting news, Ava Nawrocki was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one triple, one stolen base, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Juliette Smith, who scored three runs and stole Two bases. while going 2-for-3.
Flintridge Sacred Heart's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Notre Dame (SO), their win bumped their record up to 6-3.
Both the two teams just can't seem to miss. Notre Dame (SO) has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 11.3 hits per game. However, it's not like Flintridge Sacred Heart struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 3 hits. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
