Baseball Recap: Buffalo Gap Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Buffalo Gap can now relate to. They came up short against the Luray Bulldogs on Thursday, falling 9-2. The Bison were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March of 2025.

Buffalo Gap saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Wyatt Swisher, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.

This is the second loss in a row for Buffalo Gap and nudges their season record down to 9-13. As for Luray, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-9.

Buffalo Gap does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Luray, they will square off against William Campbell at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
