Pomona had already won eight in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 36.4 points) and they went ahead and made it nine on Monday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Evergreen Cougars 40-6. The Panthers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 games by 20 points or more this season.

Pomona didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Jay Cordova and Laurel Elliott.

Pomona's victory bumped their record up to 14-1. As for Evergreen, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-6.

Pomona does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Evergreen, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, an 18-6 defeat against Golden on the 8th.
