Basketball Game Preview: Junipero Serra Padres vs. Bellarmine College Prep Bells

Junipero Serra and Bellarmine College Prep are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2020, but not for long. The Junipero Serra Padres will be playing in front of their home fans against the Bellarmine College Prep Bells at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Junipero Serra is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak.

Last Friday, Junipero Serra came up short against Valley Christian and fell 54-41.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Bellarmine College Prep, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They blew past Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory 70-46 on Friday. Given the Bells' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 55th, while the Fightin' Irish are ranked 202nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Bellarmine College Prep's victory bumped their record up to 11-3. As for Junipero Serra, their loss dropped their record down to 9-5.
