            Football Recap: Attica Red Ramblers vs. Riverton Parke Panthers        
        
		
        
        
            Attica lost against Riverton Parke back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result  on Friday. The Red Ramblers took a  blow against the Panthers, falling  59-6. While losing is never fun, the Red Ramblers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' Indiana football rankings (they are ranked 291st, while the Panthers are ranked 101st).
 Carter Vredenburgh threw for 61 yards  on three of 14 attempts.   Lucas Griffis was his top target, picking up 34 receiving yards.
 Riverton Parke's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but  Vickter Shoopman led the charge by rushing for 83 yards and two  touchdowns. Shoopman was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 50 yards.  Jackson While made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.
Attica has  been struggling recently as they've  lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record  this season. As for Riverton Parke, the  victory keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.
 Looking ahead, Attica will challenge Covington at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. The Red Ramblers' defense better be ready for this one: the Trojans have averaged an impressive 29.3  points per game this season. As for Riverton Parke, they will face off against Parke Heritage at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.
