Volleyball Game Preview: Lincoln Park Lions vs. Alcott Wildcats

The Lincoln Park Lions will face off against the Alcott Wildcats at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Lincoln Park is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Payton College Prep just ended the team's six-game winning streak on Monday. They fell just short of the Grizzlies by a score of 2-1. While the Lions didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Grizzlies 25-21 in the first set.

Lincoln Park started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. The match finished with set scores of 21-25, 25-18, 25-23.

Meanwhile, Alcott came up short against Steinmetz College Prep on Monday and fell 2-0. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lincoln Park's defeat dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Alcott, their loss dropped their record down to 5-7-1.
