Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Orthopaedic). They strolled past the Jefferson Democrats with points to spare on Monday, taking the game 64-48. The win was just business as usual for the Vipers, who after six games remain undefeated this season.

Orthopaedic's victory bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Jefferson, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Orthopaedic won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Santee at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Jefferson, they will face off against Manual Arts at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
