Northside Christian won the last time they faced Vermilion Catholic and things went their way on Tuesday too. Northside Christian was the clear victor by a 14-4 margin over Vermilion Catholic. The Warriors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by ten runs or more this season.

The win made it two in a row for Northside Christian and bumps their season record up to 8-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.0 runs over those games. As for Vermilion Catholic, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-5-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northside Christian will head out to take on LaGrange at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Vermilion Catholic, they will square off against Highland Baptist Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Highland Baptist Christian has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.45 runs per game on average), something Vermilion Catholic will no doubt try to take advantage of.
