Brush hadn't done well against Maple Heights recently (they were 0-6 in their previous six matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Arcs blew past the Mustangs 3-0. For the Arcs, this counts as revenge for the 3-2 victory the Mustangs walked away with the last time they faced one another back in August of 2024.

Brush walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the third set). The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-19, 25-14.

Brush now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Maple Heights, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Brush will take on Garfield at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Arcs are facing the Rams at the right time seeing as the Rams are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Maple Heights, they will challenge Garfield Heights at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
