Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Leicester). They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Quaboag Regional Cougars 59-56. For the Wolverines, this counts as revenge for the 48-22 victory the Cougars walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2024.

The win (which was Leicester's third in a row) raised their record to 5-5. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.3 points per game. As for Quaboag Regional, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-7.

Leicester will head out on the road to square off against Millbury at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Millbury will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Leicester surely won't give up without a fight. As for Quaboag Regional, they will be playing at home against University Park at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
