Baseball Recap: Life Christian Academy Victorious

It may have taken nine innings to finish the job, but Life Christian Academy ultimately got the result they hoped for on Saturday. They skirted past the Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot Knights 7-6. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Eagles have posted since March 8th.

Jason Theiss was a major factor no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run while striking out eight over 4.1 innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up a single earned run in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two RBI. That's the most hits he has posted since back in March.

In other batting news, Connor Radcliff was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 4-for-5. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Graham Powers, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4.
