Basketball Game Preview: Natrona County Mustangs vs. Sheridan Broncs

Natrona County is 2-8 against Sheridan since February of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Mustangs are headed away from home for the first time to take on the Broncs at 6:00 p.m. Natrona County will be strutting in after a victory while Sheridan will be coming in after a defeat.

Natrona County saw some tournament action on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Worland 65-34.

Meanwhile, Sheridan lost to Arvada West on the road by a 61-43 margin on Saturday.

The win got Natrona County back to even at 1-1. As for Sheridan, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 1-1.

Natrona County came up short against Sheridan when the teams last played back in December of 2024, falling 54-41. Can the Mustangs avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
