Volleyball Recap: El Camino Eagles vs. Woodland Wolves        
        
		
             El Camino suffered their biggest  defeat since September 3rd on Thursday. They lost  3-0 to the Woodland Wolves. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wolves apparently hadn't forgotten their  loss the last time these teams played  back in September.
 While El Camino was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Woodland's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-20,  25-22.
 Several Eagles players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was   Lizzie Newman, who  had 15  digs, four  blocks,  and three  kills. The dominant performance gave  Newman a new career-high in  blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of  Natalie Padilla, who  had 20  digs.
 Even though they lost, El Camino  kept the net locked down and  finished the game with 14  blocks. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Woodland only had nine.
 The  defeat snapped El Camino's winning streak at five games  and leaves them with a 12-10 record. As for Woodland, they have  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won six of their last seven matches,  which provided a massive bump to their 13-11 record  this season.
 El Camino will square off against Sutter at 6:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. El Camino will be looking to keep their six-game home win streak  alive. As for Woodland, they will face off against Dixon at 6:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Woodland will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
