Basketball Recap: Fillmore Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Fillmore came into Friday's match having lost six straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They took down the Hueneme Vikings 63-44 on Friday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 62-46 back in December of 2024.

Omar Valadez and Sebastian Juarez certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Valadez posted ten points in addition to seven boards and three steals, while Juarez went 7 for 13 en route to 15 points. The dominant performance gave Valadez a new career-high in steals.
