Recap: University School of Nashville Tigers vs. Dayspring Academy Shires
The University School of Nashville Tigers had to endure a seven-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 30-22 win over Dayspring Academy on Monday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as University School of Nashville also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2023.
Among those leading the charge was Uma Peters, who scored 11 points along with three steals. Another player making a difference was Josie Whelan, who scored six points along with eight rebounds.
University School of Nashville's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-19. As for Dayspring Academy, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-5.
University School of Nashville won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Franklin Road Academy at 6:00 p.m. on February 6th. Franklin Road Academy will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something University School of Nashville surely won't give up without a fight. Dayspring Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
