Football Recap: Pisgah Comes Up Short on the Road Against Mountain Heritage + How To Watch

Pisgah kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They took a blow against the Mountain Heritage Cougars, falling 48-19. The Bears were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cougars apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2021.

Although Pisgah took the loss, they still got scores from Hunter Nelson, Maddox Wright, and Matthew Mehaffey.

Looking ahead, Pisgah will look to takes advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they takes on Swain County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Mountain Heritage, they will venture away from home to take on Erwin at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
