Flag Football Recap: Mill Creek Comes Up Short

Mill Creek extended their losing streak to three on Monday, dropping them down to 0-3. They took a blow against the Seckinger Jaguars, falling 33-0. The Hawks were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Jaguars apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2023.

As for Seckinger, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 10-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 4.4 points on average over those games.

It was another big night for Nalani Gainey, who threw for 63 yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 77 yards on only six carries. Peyton Fountain also helped with two scores in total.

Mill Creek has already played their next game, a 31-0 loss against North Forsyth on the 20th. As for Seckinger, they will challenge Loganville at 7:30 p.m. on the 28th.
