Recap: Langford Lions vs. North Central Thunder
This season hasn't been kind to the Langford Lions, who are still winless after their 12th contest. They were dealt a 45-13 defeat at the hands of North Central on Saturday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Langford has scored all season.
They got a good chunk of their points from the dynamic duo of
Rennan Bruns and
Jake Samson, who each put up five points.
Kalen Godel held things down on the boards with seven rebounds. He took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with three assists.
Langford bumped their record down to 0-12 with that loss, which was their ninth straight at home. As for North Central, their win bumped their record up to 2-6.
Langford the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Northwestern Area at 8:00 p.m. on January 26th. As for North Central, they will head out on the road to take on Potter County co-op [Gettysburg/Hoven] at 8:30 p.m. on Thursday.
