Volleyball Game Preview: Antelope Titans vs. Vanden Vikings

The Antelope Titans will take on the Vanden Vikings at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday. The two teams are strolling into their matches after big wins in their previous games.

On Thursday, Antelope got the win against Cordova by a conclusive 3-0.

Antelope was especially dominant in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-16, 25-21.

Antelope can attribute much of their success to Alex Sweetman, who had 13 assists and three aces, and Kingston Berry, who had eight digs and two assists. Sweetman has been hot for a while, having posted 12 or more assists the last nine times he's played.

Meanwhile, Vanden made easy work of Rodriguez on Wednesday and carried off a 3-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Vikings.

Vanden never let Rodriguez on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-9, 25-22.

Vanden's win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-5. As for Antelope, their victory bumped their record up to 11-6.
