Basketball Recap: West Florida Baptist Academy Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Victory

West Florida Baptist Academy won the last time they faced Atmore Christian, and Shepard Brown did his part to make sure it happened again. The West Florida Baptist Academy Conquerors claimed a resounding 65-37 win over the Atmore Christian Rams thanks in part to Brown, who went 10 of 16 on his way to 24 points along with six boards and five assists. The matchup was his fourth in a row with at least ten points.

The victory was the fourth in a row for West Florida Baptist Academy, bringing their record for this year to 21-4. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.3 points per game. As for Atmore Christian, they dropped their record down to 1-8 with the loss, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season.

West Florida Baptist Academy will challenge L.E.A.D. Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. West Florida Baptist Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully L.E.A.D. Academy likes a good challenge. As for Atmore Christian, they will venture away from home to face off against Aletheia Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on February 7th.
