Warrior Run came tearing into Friday's game with nine straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.7 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Hughesville Spartans by a score of 7-2. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 15-0 on April 6th.

The team relied heavily on Landon Tillson, who went 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI. Griffen Harrington was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Warrior Run kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Hughesville only managed four.

Warrior Run's win bumped their record up to 12-2. As for Hughesville, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 5-6 record.
