Volleyball Recap: Luxemburg-Casco's Winning Streak Snapped at Five Games

It was a good run, but Luxemburg-Casco unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-match winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of the Stevens Point Panthers by a score of 2-1.

Aubrey Frey paced Luxemburg-Casco's offense, picking up 20 kills. Frey got some help from Alayna Deprez and her 25 assists. Rylan Kaminski and Alayna Heurkens kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Among those leading the charge was Lenna Mayer, who had 18 digs. Addi Peskie also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Luxemburg-Casco's loss dropped their record down to 23-8. As for Stevens Point, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 20-4.

Coming up, Luxemburg-Casco will be playing in front of their home fans against Marinette at 7:00 a.m. on Thursday. As for Stevens Point, they have already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Mosinee on the 27th.
