Basketball Game Preview: Chino Cowboys vs. Chino Hills Huskies + How To Watch

Chino is 0-3 against Chino Hills since January of 2023 but things could change on Thursday. The Cowboys will square off against the Huskies at 6:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Having struggled with four losses in a row, Chino turned things around against University on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Wildcats 98-67. The Cowboys' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Chino's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Yousef Ihmud, who dropped a double-double with 29 points and ten boards, and Treston Davis, who posted 22 points in addition to six assists and three steals. The game was Ihmud's sixth in a row with at least 16 points. Another player making a difference was Henry Campos, who earned 14 points.

Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Chino Hills beat Santiago 68-62 on Wednesday. The Huskies haven't had any issues with the Sharks recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Chino's win bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Chino Hills, their victory bumped their record up to 11-2.

Chino was dealt a bruising 102-63 defeat at the hands of Chino Hills when the teams last played back in January. Can the Cowboys avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
