Volleyball Recap: Calvary Chapel Academy Eagles vs. Brevard HEAT Firehawks

Calvary Chapel Academy lost against Brevard HEAT back in August, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Eagles lost 3-0 to the Firehawks. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-19, 25-16.

Abigail Cieslak paced Calvary Chapel Academy's offense, picking up five kills. Cieslak got some help from Addison Sedaros and her 11 assists. Rachel Polak and Julianne Jackson kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Emily Livengood was the offensive standout of the contest as she had 26 digs and three aces. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 13 or more in each of the last 41 games she's played dating back to last season.

Calvary Chapel Academy's loss dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Brevard HEAT, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Calvary Chapel Academy will host Master's Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Brevard HEAT, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Heritage at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
