Soccer Game Preview: Helena vs. Shelby County

The Helena Huskies will be defending their home pitch for the first time this season when they go up against the Shelby County Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Helena will be strutting in after a win while Shelby County will be coming in after a loss.

Helena is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They put the hurt on Chilton County with a sharp 6-1 victory on Tuesday. The win continues a trend for the Huskies in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won six in a row.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 11 goals the game before, Shelby County was a bit more limited in their match on Friday. They lost 11-1 to Indian Springs. The Wildcats have struggled against the Student recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Helena now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Shelby County, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Everything went Helena's way against Shelby County in their previous matchup back in February of 2018, as Helena made off with a 12-0 victory. Will Helena repeat their success, or does Shelby County have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
