Volleyball Recap: Bynum Comes Up Short

Fans were treated to a battle of the Bulldogs on Friday. Bynum fell 2-0 to Palmer.

Palmer can attribute much of their success to Harley Ellis, who had 13 assists and two aces. That's the most assists Ellis has posted over her last seven matchups.

Bynum's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Palmer, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-3.

Looking ahead, Bynum will square off against Mexia at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bulldogs are facing the Black Cats at the right time seeing as the Black Cats are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Palmer, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Mart on the 23rd.
