Bell hasn't had much luck against Southlake Carroll recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Blue Raiders will face off against the Dragons at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Bell was handed a 22-run defeat in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Keller Central, sneaking past 10-8. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Blue Raiders' hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.
AiAlAisA LilomAiAvA spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and three unearned) runs on ten hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Reagan Bennett was incredible, going 4-for-5 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. Those four hits gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Hannah Timani, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-1.
Bennett wasn't the only one making solid contact: Bell kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 17 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, Southlake Carroll was able to grind out a solid win over Northwest on Tuesday, taking the game 8-3.
Audrey Stroud looked comfortable as she tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Olivia Mccarrick, who went 2-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. That triple was her first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Emmy May, who scored two runs while going 2-for-4.
Bell moved to 6-13 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak. As for Southlake Carroll, their record is now 16-11.
Friday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Bell hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .320. However, it's not like Southlake Carroll struggles in that department as they've averaged .370. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
