Desert Hills barely beat Hurricane the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Thunder put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 7-1 win on Tuesday. Todd Simister was a massive factor in the win as he booted in three goals all by himself.

The victory made it two in a row for Desert Hills and bumps their season record up to 6-9. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 11 goals over those two games. As for Hurricane, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-12.
