Basketball Recap: North Pemiscot Takes a Loss

North Pemiscot was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 20th straight loss dating back to last season. They were beaten by the Clarkton Reindeer 69-25. The Mustangs were not able to make up for their defeat to the Reindeer from their previous meeting back in January.

North Pemiscot's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Clarkton, their victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 1-6.

North Pemiscot will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Southland at 7:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025. As for Clarkton, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Greenville at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
