Volleyball Game Preview: Rockwell Marshals vs. Freedom Prep Academy Eagles

Rockwell is 0-10 against Freedom Prep Academy since September of 2021 but things could change on Tuesday. The Marshals will head out on the road to face off against the Eagles at 6:00 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Thursday, Rockwell earned a 3-1 win over Utah Military Academy - Camp Williams.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-22, 21-25, 25-21.

Meanwhile, Freedom Prep Academy got the win against Wasatch Academy on Thursday by a conclusive 3-0. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Freedom Prep Academy not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Wasatch Academy between 18 and 21 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-21, 25-19.

Rockwell's record now sits at 5-15. As for Freedom Prep Academy, their record is now 9-7.

Rockwell suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Freedom Prep Academy when the teams last played back in September. Can the Marshals avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
