Soccer Recap: Garland Find Success

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Sachse, Garland was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the South Garland Titans 1-0. The Owls have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Titans, too.

Garland now has a winning record of 3-2-1. As for South Garland, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

Garland will welcome Naaman Forest at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Garland's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end. As for South Garland, they will square off against Wylie at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Wylie will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something South Garland surely won't give up without a fight.
