Volleyball Recap: Mckinney North Comes Up Short at Home Against Liberty

McKinney North unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell 3-1 to the Liberty Redhawks on Tuesday. The Bulldogs have struggled against the Redhawks recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

McKinney North started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 20-25, 25-17, 25-19, 25-23.

Nicole Jacobson paced McKinney North's offense, picking up ten kills. Jacobson got some help from Malia McNeal and her 18 assists. Jordan Kowallis controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

McKinney North will take on Ridge Point in a tournament on Thursday. As for Liberty, they will host Guyer at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
