Houston posted their closest victory since September 5th on Monday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Kodiak Bears, sneaking past 1-0. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Hawks as it put an end to their five-match losing streak.

Houston's victory bumped their record up to 9-19. As for Kodiak, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 16 of their last 19 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-21-3 record this season.
