Softball Recap: Chelsea Comes Up Short

The Chelsea Bulldogs didn't have quite enough to beat the Divine Child Falcons on Monday and fell 4-3.

Chelsea's defeat dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Divine Child, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record this season.

Chelsea will welcome Skyline at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Eagles have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 14.1 runs per game on average), something the Bulldogs will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Divine Child, they have already played their next game, a 12-5 loss against Lutheran North on the 12th.
