Football Recap: Lincoln's Win on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Three + How To Watch

Lincoln had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 31.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 38-14 margin over the New Albany Eagles. With the Lions ahead 31-7 at the half, the game was all but over already.

Lincoln got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Grey Kegley out in front who threw for 318 yards and two touchdowns while completing 78.9% of his passes. A healthy portion of Kegley's aerial production (151 yards to be exact) went to Marki Wallace, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.

Lincoln's record is now 5-2. As for New Albany, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-5.

Lincoln and New Albany should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings. The Lions will take on Westerville Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday with a big rank advantage (42 vs. 180). Meanwhile, New Albany (ranked 107th) will meet Central Crossing (ranked 396th) at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
