Football Recap: Perkins County Starts Season with Defeat at Home

Perkins County unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They were beaten by the Dundy County-Stratton Tigers 46-16 on Thursday. The Plainsmen have struggled against the Tigers recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Coming up, Perkins County will venture away from home to square off against Sandhills Valley at 7:00 p.m. on September 5. As for Dundy County-Stratton, they will host Bridgeport at 6:00 p.m. on September 5.
