Basketball Recap: Andrew Jackson Takes a Loss

Andrew Jackson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 67-61 heartbreaker at the hands of the Gainesville Hurricanes. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Hurricanes apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2022.

Andrew Jackson's loss dropped their record down to 14-9. As for Gainesville, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-8 record this season.

Andrew Jackson has already played their next contest (against West Nassau), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Gainesville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
