Volleyball Recap: Ballston Spa Takes a Loss

If Ballston Spa was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Colonie Central last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Scotties lost 3-0 to the Saratoga Springs Blue Streaks on Tuesday. The loss continues a trend for the Scotties in their meetings with the Blue Streaks: they've now lost four in a row.

While Ballston Spa was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-13, 25-15.

Ballston Spa now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Saratoga Springs, their win ended a three-match drought on the road and puts them at 6-7.

Ballston Spa has already played their next contest (against Troy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Saratoga Springs, after both having extra time off, they and Shenendehowa will shake off the rust and duke it out at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
