Basketball Recap: Church Farm Takes a Loss

On Saturday, the Church Farm Griffens came up short against the Springfield Cougars and fell 60-47. While losing is never fun, the Griffens can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 291st, while the Cougars are ranked 119th).

Church Farm's loss dropped their record down to 9-5. As for Springfield, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-5.

Church Farm will challenge Bristol at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Bristol knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five contests -- so hopefully Church Farm likes a good challenge. As for Springfield, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Springfield Cougars take on the Strath Haven Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
