Basketball Recap: Clinton Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Clinton duked it out withSkyline on Saturday. The Clinton Cardinals lost 65-41 to the Skyline Tigers. The matchup marked the Cardinals' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Clinton has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-3 record this season. As for Skyline, their win bumped their record up to 4-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Clinton will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Sherwood at 7:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Skyline also won't see the court for a while: their next game is against Stockton at 6:00 p.m. on January 10, 2025.
