After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Foard, North Lincoln was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They never let the Hickory Red Tornadoes get on the board and left with a 14-0 win. The Knights might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 matchups by seven runs or more this season.

North Lincoln got a massive performance out of Aniston Moore, who went 2-for-4 with one home run and three RBI. That's the most RBI Moore has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Gabby Parker, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with three RBI and one double.

North Lincoln was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .429. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Hickory only posted a batting average of .133.

North Lincoln has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-6 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.5 runs over those games. As for Hickory, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost ten of their last 12 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-13 record this season.

North Lincoln wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Kings Mountain on the 6th. Hickory does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
