Basketball Game Preview: North Garland Raiders vs. Naaman Forest Rangers

North Garland is 1-9 against Naaman Forest since January of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The North Garland Raiders will take on the Naaman Forest Rangers at 6:00 p.m. North Garland will be strutting in after a victory while Naaman Forest will be coming in after a defeat.

North Garland took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They walked away with a 38-29 win over South Garland. The victory was some much needed relief for the Raiders as it spelled an end to their six-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, Naaman Forest was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were dealt a 61-18 defeat at the hands of Wylie East. While losing is never fun, the Rangers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1219th, while the Raiders are ranked 443rd).

Naaman Forest's loss dropped their record down to 2-22. As for North Garland, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 11-17.

North Garland strolled past Naaman Forest in their previous meeting back in December of 2024 by a score of 41-27. The rematch might be a little tougher for North Garland since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
