Soccer Game Preview: Anson vs. Forest Hills

Anson hasn't had much luck against Forest Hills recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Bearcats will welcome the Yellow Jackets at 6:00 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Anson fell victim to West Stanly and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They lost 17-0 to the Colts. While losing is never fun, Anson can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 491st, while West Stanly are ranked 124th).

Meanwhile, Forest Hills also failed to score in their most recent game. They came up short against Central Academy of Technology & Arts on Tuesday, falling 7-0. Forest Hills haven't had much luck with Central Academy of Technology & Arts recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Forest Hills' loss dropped their record down to 1-15-2. As for Anson, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-13.
