Basketball Recap: Allen's Victory on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Allen had won three straight games and Nehemiah Lawrence did his part to make it four on Friday. The Eagles walked away with an 80-72 win over the Nazareth Kingsmen for which the team can thank Lawrence, who shot 67% from beyond the arc en route to 39 points and four steals. The matchup was his fourth in a row with at least 24 points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Brandon Ellerbee, who posted five points and five rebounds. He has also also been stellar as far as shooting accuracy is concerned: he's posted one of at least 50% every time he's hit the court this season.

Allen's victory bumped their record up to 4-0.

Allen wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 62-43 win against Central on the 22nd. As for Nazareth, they will face off against Archbishop Carroll at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
