Basketball Game Preview: Norwich Eagles vs. Medicine Lodge Indians

The Norwich Eagles will head out to challenge the Medicine Lodge Indians on Friday. Norwich is coming into the contest hot, having won their last five games.

Norwich is headed into the game after thoroughly thrashing Cunningham: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Norwich blew Cunningham out of the water with a 53-25 final score. The Eagles pushed the score to 39-14 by the end of the third, a deficit the Wildcats had little chance of recovering from.

Medicine Lodge never got on the board in their matchup on Monday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Stafford last Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Trojans 60-33. That 27 point margin sets a new team best for the Indians this season.

Norwich pushed their record up to 8-4 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 25.3 points per game. As for Medicine Lodge, their win bumped their record up to 4-5-1.

Norwich skirted past Medicine Lodge 51-49 when the teams last played back in January of 2022. Does Norwich have another victory up their sleeve, or will Medicine Lodge turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
