Volleyball Recap: Springfield Southeast Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Springfield Southeast can now relate to. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Morton Potters on Tuesday.

Presly Werts paced Springfield Southeast's offense, picking up four kills. Werts got some help from Parker Maxey and her 12 assists.

Springfield Southeast has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-22 record this season. As for Morton, they are on a roll lately: they've won 22 of their last 23 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 31-3 record this season.

As of now, neither Springfield Southeast nor Morton have any future games scheduled.
