Football Recap: Polo Takes a Loss

Polo lost against Brookfield back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Panthers had to suffer through a 44-14 loss at the hands of the Bulldogs. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Polo's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Brookfield, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Polo will square off against rival Milan at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Brookfield is set to face off against their familiar foe Putnam County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Bulldogs 13.2, the Midgets 8.8) so any points scored will be well earned.
