Soccer Recap: Shelton Takes a Loss

Shelton was the 2-1 winner over Centralia when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Highclimbers fell 2-0 to the Tigers on Tuesday. Shelton just can't catch a break and have now endured five losses in a row.

Shelton's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5-1. As for Centralia, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Shelton will take on Black Hills at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Shelton are facing Black Hills at the right time seeing as Black Hills are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Centralia, they will challenge Aberdeen at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Aberdeen will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Centralia surely won't give up without a fight.
