The biggest upset of the week belonged to Preston, who took down 86th ranked North Marion, 32-14.

Elkins extended the longest winning streak in Big Ten this week by beating Fairmont, 39-6. The win marks fifth in a row for the the Tigers.

L. J. Lawrence was the best wideout in the league this week as Elkins defeated the Polar Bears. Lawrence racked up one reception for 25 yards. Isaac Riggleman helped Elkins' passing attack out by catching one ball for eight yards.

Lawrence was the most productive running back in the league this week. He ran for 156 yards on 12 carries as Greg Hott's team beat Fairmont. Teammate Clayton Collett added to the ground attack by rushing for 150 yards.

Troy Anderson put up the best numbers through the air as Bridgeport topped East Fairmont. He finished with a total of two completions for 15 yards and one touchdown. Anderson's favorite target this week was Zach Bombardiere, who caught one pass for 10 yards.

Grafton's Ivy Bartlett and Joe Christopher have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading Big Ten in both passing and receiving yards. Bartlett has thrown for 429 yards this season, while Christopher, a 5-foot-11 receiver, has nine catches for 218 yards. Lawrence from the Tigers leads the league in rushing with 975 yards.

The marquee game in the league this week will be the clash between the Indians and Elkins. Bridgeport enters the game ranked 21st in the state, while the Tigers ranks 15th.

Elkins' Lawrence is a mere 25 yards away from breaking the 1,000-rushing-yards mark for the season.

There should be lots of points scored when the Indians and the Tigers face off this week. The top two offenses in the league, Bridgeport comes in having scored 146 this season, while Elkins has scored 242. The Indians scored 28 points last week as they bested the Bees.

Byrd suffered a letdown when it was bounced from the state Top 25 this week after a 73-20 loss to Byrd. The Eagles had been ranked 21st, but fell to 28 following the defeat.
