Recap: Lehigh Valley Academy Jaguars vs. Notre Dame Spartans
On Thursday, Lehigh Valley Academy was the victim of a tough 58-36 loss at the hands of Notre Dame. While losing is never fun, Lehigh Valley Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 434th, while Notre Dame is ranked 108th).
Lehigh Valley Academy lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Ziyon Wilkins, who scored 14 points. Wilkins scored a full 38.9% of Lehigh Valley Academy's points, the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Christopher Hunt, who scored nine points.
Lehigh Valley Academy now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Notre Dame, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.
Lehigh Valley Academy will head out on the road to face off against Marian Catholic at 3:00 p.m. on December 23rd. Notre Dame will be home for the holidays to greet Lehigh Christian Academy at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday.
